Exercising on a mini trampoline.

The Mini Trampoline Exercise Beats all the Others!

The mini trampoline exercise (or Rebounder exercise) is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your health. It takes so little effort to perform, it's almost like cheating. I love recommending this to my coaching clients because it is so easy to continue with over time.

Other things you will really appreciate about it are:

* almost everyone can do it no matter their fitness
level or age

* I've used it when injured and it made me feel better

* it creates almost no stress on your joints

* you can have fun and let gravity do the work!

Mini Trampoline Exercise to the Rescue

The other day my 81 lb son jumped on my shoulders wanting to wrestle. I pinned him in short order. Then I had a sharp pain behind my left shoulder blade. I’d won the battle (a very small one), but felt like I’d lost the war.

The next day my back hurt and I couldn’t do my bodyweight exercises. Then I thought – REBOUNDER! I wasn’t sure if it would work, but I couldn’t wait to try it out.

I rolled it out in front of the TV and the 1st 10 minute session went great. I bounced more gently than I normally do and had no problem with my back. In fact, when I was finished it felt a little better.

I also learned a bunch of tricks on how to get a good deal when buying a home from the lady on the tube!

In the afternoon I was back in position doing another 10 minutes. I could feel more improvement in how my back felt.

The rebounder exercise definitely seemed to speed the recovery of my sore back.

Let's See Letterman Top This!

The mini trampoline exercise has so many benefits that there too many to mention here. I've come up with a Top 10.

* 10. strengthens muscles, tendons, and ligaments

* 9. works every cell in the body

* 8. helps support bone strength and density

* 7. improves agility, coordination and balance

* 6. strengthens and makes the heart more efficient

* 5. cranks up your metabolism, which helps with weight
loss

* 4. improves the immune system, which fights disease

* 3. reduces stress and helps you relax

* 2. reduces your resting pulse rate

* and the #1 benefit is it's effect on the Lymphatic System. This system serves to cleanse the body of “junk” (metabolic wastes), deliver nutrients, and fights viruses and bacteria.

The Lymphatic System doesn’t have a pump like the circulatory system (the heart). Lymph fluid depends mainly upon muscular contraction to pump it through your body. For more info go to Mini Trampoline Exercise.

The mini trampoline exercise can raise the movement of fluid through the lymphatic system by a factor of 14 times normal. No other activity can match it in this area.

Mini Rebounder Details

The spec's on Mini Trampoline's are as follows:

* they are usually 28 to 40 inches in diameter and 6 to
9 inches tall

* some will fold in half for even easier storage

* you burn about 700 calories an hour using one

* you can buy a stabilizer bar to give you additional
balance. Excellent for rehabilitation, the blind, the
elderly and the disabled

To perform the exercise you can gently bounce up and down without your feet ever leaving the surface. You can also "go" for it by bouncing up higher in the air somewhat for a more intense and calf tiring exercise.

Either way the main benefits are yours. You achieve weightlessness at the top of the jump and increased gravitational force at the bottom. This gives you the benefit you are looking for in this exercise.

My Recommendation
Get one and jump a bunch!
